RSD. This is Rift’s Scotch Yoke double acting valve actuator. This is a quarter turn actuator, typically used for on/off control of valves. Torque is non linear and peaks at the start and end of movement. This makes the Scotch Yoke actuator ideal for butterfly valve applications though they are often used for ball valves also. This type is double acting and uses air pressure to open and close the valve.
